We are informing you about an incident involving the lookup function on this website.
This website lets you look up which mobile subscriptions are linked to your telephone number from the partnering services. Until recently, the lookup function showed the results after a telephone number was entered and a captcha check was completed. We tried to keep this process as frictionless as possible for our users. From 27 August 2026 until 30 August 2026, a third party used an automated script to enter a large number of telephone numbers and retrieve the linked subscription information. We cannot rule out that others have used the lookup function in the same way.
For telephone numbers in our records, the lookup function showed:
No names, email addresses, passwords or payment details were involved.
Someone who knows that your telephone number is linked to a particular service can use this to send you a convincing message by SMS or phone. Such a message may appear to come from the service or from us. It may try to get you to click a link, share a code or make a payment (phishing).
We have taken the lookup function offline because of this incident. The lookup function will be available again once we mitigate the issue. Our technical team has investigated the cause and has checked our systems that might have been affected by this. We have reported the incident to the relevant Data Protection Authority.
Be careful with unexpected SMS messages and calls about your subscription, even if they mention the correct service. Do not click on links, share codes or make payments in response to such a message.
